Experienced Security Guard Recruiter – Multi-State Recruiting & Candidate Sourcing

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and resourceful Experienced Security Guard Recruiter to help us find, contact, interview, and recruit qualified security personnel across multiple states. We operate multiple security companies and need someone who knows how to find good people, reach out to potential candidates, and build a strong pool of reliable security guards who are available for current and future assignments. The ideal candidate has experience in the security industry, understands where to find qualified guards, and can work independently without constant supervision. A valid Illinois PERC Card or state guard card is strongly preferred. Previous experience recruiting security personnel across multiple states is required. Responsibilities Actively source and recruit qualified armed and unarmed security guards across multiple states. Identify candidates who meet the applicable state licensing, certification, and eligibility requirements. Contact potential candidates and conduct face-to-face video interviews using Google Meet, Zoom, or another preferred video conferencing platform. Screen applicants for experience, availability, reliability, licensing, and qualifications. Build and maintain an organized database of potential guards for current and future assignments. Follow up consistently with candidates and keep them engaged throughout the recruiting process. Recruit candidates for event security, corporate security, retail security, construction sites, and other security assignments. Coordinate the next steps in the hiring and onboarding process, including collecting required documentation and verifying credentials. Maintain regular communication with management regarding recruiting activity, qualified applicants, and hiring progress. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates who can be contacted when new assignments become available. Required Qualifications Proven experience recruiting security guards or other personnel across multiple states. Strong candidate-sourcing, outreach, and interviewing skills. Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple recruiting needs. Excellent communication and follow-up skills. Comfortable using job boards, social media, online recruiting platforms, spreadsheets, and applicant tracking systems. Reliable internet access and the ability to communicate with candidates promptly. Ability to identify and verify candidate licensing and qualifications through the appropriate state processes. Ability to conduct professional video interviews and accurately document candidate information. Preferred Qualifications A valid Illinois PERC Card or applicable state guard card. Previous experience as a security guard, security supervisor, or security recruiter. Familiarity with armed and unarmed security licensing requirements in multiple states. Experience recruiting off-duty police officers, event security personnel, and experienced security professionals. An established network of security guards or a strong understanding of where to find qualified candidates. Experience coordinating security personnel for temporary assignments, special events, and ongoing contracts.
