Experienced Roll-off Driver
LA Waste, Inc.Job Summary As an Experienced Roll-off Driver, you’ll operate a roll-off truck to collect and transport solid waste safely and reliably. You’ll follow assigned routes, communicate professionally with customers, and work outdoors in changing conditions. Your impact: Safe, timely pickups help customers manage waste and keep collection routes moving. Responsibilities Drive roll-off trucks on assigned routes and position vehicles carefully at pickup and delivery sites. Load and unload containers; secure loads and inspect equipment before and after trips. Follow safety protocols, traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, state transportation rules, and hazardous materials regulations as applicable. Provide courteous customer service and report route, container, or vehicle issues promptly. Perform outdoor work and heavy lifting as needed; use mechanical knowledge to identify basic equipment concerns. Experience Required: Prior roll-off driving experience ONLY, a valid license and qualifications for the assigned vehicle, and knowledge of defensive driving, route driving, and manual transmissions. Required: Ability to follow safety procedures and applicable DOT and state transportation regulations; air brake experience or qualification as required for the vehicle. Preferred: Experience with roll-off trucks, and loading and unloading. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Experience: ROLL-OFF DRIVING: 3 years (Preferred) Language: English/Spanish (Preferred) License/Certification: CDL A OR B required (Preferred) Work Location: In person
