Experienced OTR General Freight Drivers 26 - Foot Box Truck (1099)

Maisto Services is seeking experienced, dependable, and professional OTR (Over-the-Road) drivers to transport general freight using 26-foot box trucks. Drivers will travel across multiple states, completing pickups and deliveries on extended interstate routes. We are looking for reliable independent contractors with professional driving experience who are comfortable with extended travel and committed to safety, punctuality, and excellent service. Team Driving Opportunities Team driving opportunities are available for extended OTR routes. Two qualified drivers can share driving responsibilities, allowing for increased road time while complying with applicable DOT Hours-of-Service (HOS) regulations and required rest periods. Team drivers will coordinate driving and rest schedules to keep freight moving efficiently while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Transport general freight using a 26-foot box truck. Drive OTR routes across multiple states. Complete pickups and deliveries according to assigned schedules. Safely operate the vehicle and follow all traffic laws and DOT regulations. Properly load, secure, and handle freight. Maintain communication with dispatch and management. Coordinate driving and rest periods on team routes in accordance with DOT HOS requirements. Requirements Previous professional driving experience required. Experience driving a 26-foot box truck. General freight transportation experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Willingness and ability to travel OTR for extended periods. Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC). Dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to work independently. Team drivers must be comfortable working closely with another driver on extended OTR routes. Compensation & Opportunity 1099 independent contractor position.
