Experienced Mover — Hudson Loop
ConfidentialLocation: Brooklyn and project sites throughout New York City Pay: $23–$27 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Experience: Minimum three years of professional moving experience required Hudson Loop is hiring experienced movers who take pride in protecting customers’ belongings, working safely, and showing up ready to work. We provide moving, relocation, packing, storage, and inventory services, including moves for residents during occupied building renovations. We are looking for dependable professionals who know how to handle furniture properly and work respectfully in residents’ homes. What You Will Do Pack, wrap, protect, load, unload, and place furniture and household belongings. Complete moves within buildings, offsite relocations, storage transfers, and return moves. Safely use dollies, hand trucks, moving straps, and protective materials. Disassemble and reassemble basic furniture as needed. Label belongings, follow inventory procedures, and report damage or missing items promptly. Protect floors, walls, doorways, elevators, and residents’ belongings. Follow the crew lead’s instructions and communicate professionally with residents and coworkers. What We Are Looking For At least three years of professional moving experience. Working knowledge of furniture protection, safe lifting, and truck loading. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail. Ability to travel to assigned NYC job sites and arrive on time. Ability to perform essential moving duties, including carrying items, using stairs, bending, and standing, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
