As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, professional and reliable Medical Office Administrator (MOA) to join our team on a part-time basis. Please note: Previous hands-on experience with Accuro EMR and venepuncture/phlebotomy is required for this position. What We Offer $18–$20/hour , based on experience and qualifications Part-time position with opportunity for ongoing employment Professional, welcoming and supportive working environment Opportunity to grow with an established and expanding medical practice Respectful and collaborative team culture Experience within both family practice and walk-in clinic settings Free on-site parking Key Responsibilities Provide a warm, professional and welcoming experience for every patient Greet and register patients and prepare them for appointments Manage appointments, walk-ins, recalls and follow-up bookings Accurately maintain patient records and confidently navigate Accuro EMR Verify OHIP coverage and assist with third-party and uninsured billing Collect payments for uninsured services Room patients and accurately record vital signs Perform urine testing and urine dipstick analysis Perform venepuncture/phlebotomy and prepare specimens for laboratory collection Assist with and administer immunisations and IM injections in accordance with clinic protocols and within the appropriate scope Prepare, clean and disinfect examination rooms Process referrals, requisitions, medical forms and other clinical documentation Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails and faxes Assist the physician with clinical and administrative tasks Maintain medical and office supplies and assist with inventory management Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy requirements Contribute to the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the clinic Perform other duties as required Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Office Administrator/Assistant in a medical or primary care setting Demonstrated hands-on experience using Accuro EMR is required Previous venepuncture/phlebotomy experience is required 1–2+ years of relevant medical office experience preferred Medical Office Administration/Assistant certificate or diploma is an asset Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy clinic Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team Professional, dependable and punctual Strong commitment to patient confidentiality and excellent patient care Additional clinical skills such as immunisation administration and IM injections are an asset.
