Experienced Lowboy and Transfer Driver

As an Experienced Lowboy and Transfer Driver, you’ll move heavy equipment safely between job sites and delivery locations. You’ll operate lowboy and transfer trucks, plan routes, and coordinate loading and unloading while following applicable transportation and safety regulations. Your impact: Careful equipment transport helps customers and work crews receive the machinery and materials they need at the right place. Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks, tractor-trailers, and lowboy or flatbed equipment on local routes. Use GPS navigation and route planning to complete delivery. Load and unload equipment, secure loads and perform manual handling as needed. Inspect vehicles and other assigned equipment, before and during trips. Maintain accurate delivery records and follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT). Requirements Ability to operate commercial vehicles with a manual transmission and safely handle truck loading and unloading. Knowledge of load securement, and safe manual handling practices. Valid Class A Oregon CDL - need a minimum of 2 years of experience. Local deliveries - Rogue Valley This person must be reliable, have a good attitude and work well with others.
