Spartan Construction is hiring an experienced Jet Vac Operator / Lowboy Driver for pipe and infrastructure projects. We need a qualified operator with substantial, hands-on jet vac experience who can run the truck independently and haul heavy equipment between job sites.
Travel to out-of-town projects is part of this position.
Responsibilities

• Assess field conditions, choose an appropriate cleaning approach, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Haul equipment between job sites using a lowboy or equipment trailer.
• Load, secure, and unload equipment safely.
• Perform vehicle and equipment inspections and assist with routine maintenance.
• Work alongside the field crew as needed and follow job-site safety procedures.
Qualifications
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Substantial professional jet vac operating experience required. Candidates must be able to operate the truck independently. Having used a jet truck only a few times does not meet this requirement.
• Experience hauling and securing heavy equipment.
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors and travel to out-of-town projects.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working as part of a crew.
Experience with pipe rehabilitation, storm drainage, or sewer work is a plus.
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
