Experienced Import Specialist

Join our team to add your value to our ongoing and steady success. We are looking for an experienced IMPORT SPECIALIST for our Atlanta, GA location, 2 to 5 years of job-related experience. This person will be responsible for entry writing, filing ISF and providing quality service to import customers regarding the timely clearance of cargo through the appropriate government agencies & providing logistic/transportation services for inland freight moves. Your role and responsibilities will include: Being a valuable team member of the Atlanta Import Department Processing import entries Import account management, handling each shipment throughout the full shipment process from beginning to end The qualifications and skills that you will need include: Professional communication skills (verbal and written) One to three years of import entry-writing experience In-depth knowledge of import procedures Good problem solving abilities Innate attention to detail Time management skills After completion of a short introductory period, some of the benefits you will receive include: Competitive pay; this is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position Generous benefits package, to include offers of health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance Option to participate in a 401-K plan Generous PTO plan Paid holidays No phone calls please.
