EXPERIENCED HYDRO VAC SWAMPER

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Hydro Vac Swamper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting hydro excavation operations, ensuring safe and efficient removal of debris, sediment, and unwanted materials from various sites. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of landscape maintenance, irrigation projects, and construction tasks. Responsibilities Assist the Hydro Vac operator by preparing and maintaining equipment, including hoses, nozzles, and mechanical tools for excavation tasks Support excavation activities by safely maneuvering hydro vacuum trucks and related machinery during site operations Conduct routine inspections of tools, machinery, and safety gear to ensure optimal functioning and compliance with safety standards Perform maintenance on equipment using hand tools and power tools, troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed Aid in the installation, repair, and upkeep of irrigation systems and landscape features Maintain detailed records of work performed, including site conditions, materials used, and safety checks Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping, gardening, and horticultural tasks that enhance site aesthetics and health Requirements Proven experience operating hydro vacuum trucks or similar excavation equipment in construction or landscape environments Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery and tools Familiarity with irrigation systems, gardening practices, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance techniques Ability to handle hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during maintenance activities Strong understanding of safety protocols related to excavation, construction sites, and equipment operation Previous construction experience is highly desirable; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is essential Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and adhering to safety standards Join us if you're eager to bring your expertise in hydro excavation and landscape support to a vibrant team committed to quality work!
