Experienced Freight Broker & Dispatcher — Part-Time / Hybrid Bottoms Up Brokerage Inc. | Corona, CA 92881 Compensation: $23 per hour + performance-based commission Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week Work Arrangement: Hybrid (in-office and remote) About the Position Bottoms Up Brokerage Inc. is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Freight Broker & Dispatcher to support our growing nationwide freight brokerage. We are looking for a proactive professional who can independently develop shipper relationships, secure freight opportunities, negotiate rates, book carriers, and coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery. Key Responsibilities Prospect, contact, and secure new shipper customers. Generate freight opportunities and maintain customer relationships. Prepare competitive freight quotes and negotiate rates. Post loads and source qualified carriers using DAT and Truckstop. Book and dispatch carriers for dry van and other supported freight. Coordinate pickups, deliveries, shipment tracking, and customer updates. Manage loads, documentation, and customer information using Alvys TMS. Resolve transportation issues promptly and professionally. Follow up consistently on sales leads and outstanding freight quotes. Maintain accurate records and meet agreed performance expectations. Qualifications Previous freight brokerage experience strongly preferred. Experience dispatching trucks and coordinating freight shipments. Demonstrated ability to develop shipper relationships and secure loads. Knowledge of DAT, Truckstop, and freight rate negotiation. Experience with Alvys or similar TMS software preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable making outbound sales calls and following up with customers. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently. Available to work both in our Corona office and remotely as scheduled. Compensation and Opportunity $23 per hour. Additional performance-based commission on eligible new business. Approximately 20 hours per week initially. Hybrid work arrangement. Opportunity for increased hours as the business grows.
