Experienced Forklift Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating various types of material handling equipment, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts. Your expertise will ensure safe and accurate loading, unloading, and movement of goods within our warehouse distribution center. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of forklift equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and lift trucks to load and unload shipments efficiently. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning, and manual counts to ensure accurate stock levels. Pick, pack, and prepare orders with precision using order picker equipment while adhering to shipping & receiving protocols. Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols during all materials handling activities to prevent accidents. Assist with warehouse distribution tasks including stacking pallets, organizing storage areas, and maintaining a clean work environment. Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper load securing. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, forklifts, Hi-Lo’s, and pallet jacks within a warehouse setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology for logistics, and inventory management practices. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards specific to forklift operation and materials handling. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipment quantities accurately. Warehouse experience with shipping & receiving procedures in a fast-paced environment.
