Experienced Forklift Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team! In this vital role, you will operate various types of material handling equipment sit-down, slip and Hi-Lo forklifts, to efficiently load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse. Your expertise in warehouse operations and safety protocols will ensure smooth distribution processes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy. Responsibilities Operate a variety of forklift equipment such as sit-down, slip and Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently Perform inventory management tasks using warehouse management systems (WMS), including barcode scanning for logistics and order picking Handle materials with precision, ensuring proper manual handling techniques and heavy lifting safety standards are followed at all times Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation Conduct routine equipment inspections, perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for repairs needed on forklifts or other material handling equipment Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipment details, and safety checks in compliance with OSHA regulations Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing storage areas, managing stock levels, and ensuring optimal space utilization Qualifications Proven experience operating forklift equipment in a warehouse setting Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory control procedures Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials manually when necessary Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Previous experience in shipping & receiving or materials handling roles preferred Valid forklift certification or equivalent training demonstrating proficiency in heavy equipment operation Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in warehouse distribution!
