CDL-A Flatbed Driver | Regional Midwest Routes | Home Weekly Wingate Express, LLC Wingate Express is hiring an experienced CDL-A driver to operate a tractor with a 53′ flatbed trailer on regional routes, primarily throughout the Midwest. We’re looking for a dependable professional who takes pride in safe driving, proper load securement, and keeping equipment in good condition. What We Offer Revenue-based pay: Daily pay, with the daily rate based on the truck’s revenue. Home weekly or more often: Additional opportunities to be home daily, depending on the route and load schedule. Benefits available. A professional team that values safety, clear communication, and dependable service. Responsibilities Safely transport and deliver flatbed freight throughout the Midwest. Properly secure loads using straps, chains, binders, and edge protection; tarp and untarp loads as required. Inspect freight and securement before departure and during transit, making adjustments as needed. Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report equipment defects or maintenance concerns. Follow DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and company safety policies. Maintain accurate electronic logs, bills of lading, and delivery paperwork. Communicate with dispatch about load status, delays, pickup and delivery instructions, and scheduling. Provide mileage updates to help keep preventive maintenance on schedule. Represent the company professionally with customers, shippers, and receivers. Requirements Valid, unrestricted Class A CDL. At least 2 years of verifiable experience operating a tractor with a 53′ flatbed trailer . Working knowledge of flatbed load securement and tarping. Clean driving record and current DOT medical card. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a background check. Ability to safely perform the physical duties of flatbed work, including handling tarps, chains, straps, and binders. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic.
