Experienced Delivery Driver

Learn more about who we are at brabnerhollon.com. Summary: Brabner and Hollon, Inc is seeking an experienced, dependable Delivery Driver . This role requires a seasoned professional who is familiar with DOT safety regulations, works well independently and with others, and has experience operating commercial vehicles transporting materials safely to and from jobsites. Ideal candidates have great attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and take pride in their work. Pay: Starting at $20/hour; compensation commensurate with experience. Essential Functions 1. Expertly operate box trucks, Hino flatbed trucks, and other delivery vehicles 2. Load and deliver wood and hollow metal doors, frames, and associated hardware to jobsites 3. Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles in accordance with industry and company standards 4. Work amicably alongside scheduler, warehouse team, and install teams to ensure timely and safe loading and delivery of materials 5. Work with the warehouse team as needed during downtime, including operation of standard warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.) to properly store/stage product, assist in unloading and unpacking vendor deliveries, and other tasks as assigned Minimum Qualifications 1. 5+ years of experience operating box trucks, flatbeds, and other commercial vehicles (no CDL required) 2. 5+ years of experience operating forklifts and other standard warehouse equipment 3. Clean driving record and active DOT certification 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 5. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed 6. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The role frequently involves lifting 50+ pounds, pushing/pulling, kneeling, sitting, walking, standing, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with arms and hands. Work Environment: This position operates primarily in warehouse and active construction environments, including uneven terrain, varying weather conditions, construction equipment, and other jobsite conditions.
