Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers on regional and OTR routes, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Drive a variety of freight including refrigerated cargo, hazardous materials, flatbeds, and tankers using GPS navigation systems for efficient routing Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques while ensuring proper securing of freight such as logistics cargo handling and hazardous goods Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards and report any issues promptly Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and compliance documentation in line with DOT regulations Execute deliveries with precision to meet customer expectations while providing excellent delivery driver experience Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route adjustments or address unforeseen challenges during route driving Experience Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or similar freight transportation Demonstrated knowledge of over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and route planning using GPS navigation tools Familiarity with trucking equipment including manual transmissions and tractor-trailers Experience handling hazardous materials (Hazmat) and understanding hazardous materials regulations is highly preferred Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading and manual handling Delivery driving experience with a track record of punctuality and professionalism in freight delivery roles Ability to operate trucks safely while managing the physical demands of load & unload tasks in various environments Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence in logistics!
