Job Summary We are seeking experienced Carpet Installer Subcontractors to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing carpet in new construction sites across metropolitan areas. The ideal candidate is reliable, skilled, and equipped with the necessary insurance and transportation to efficiently complete installations on various job sites. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Duties Install carpet in new construction environments at various sites throughout metropolitan areas. Follow project specifications and industry best practices to ensure precise and durable installations. Prepare work areas by removing existing flooring, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring proper subfloor conditions. Measure spaces accurately to cut and fit carpet materials appropriately. Use hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively during installation processes. Collaborate with project managers and other subcontractors to meet project timelines and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Complete installations efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to industry standards. Requirements Proven experience as a Carpet Installer, preferably in new construction settings. Must have valid insurance coverage for subcontractor work. Own reliable transportation to travel between multiple job sites across metropolitan areas. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality workmanship. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. Knowledge of carpet materials, tools, and installation techniques.
