Experienced Cargo Van Dispatcher — New MC Authority (Remote)

Bay2Bay Courier LLC is seeking a skilled, experienced dispatcher to manage OTR and expedited cargo van freight under our own newly activated MC authority. Our MC is in its early operating period. Proven success dispatching cargo vans for carriers with new MC authority is required. You must understand broker authority-age requirements, know how to identify brokers accepting new carriers, and be able to secure profitable freight while our authority builds operating history. Responsibilities Source and negotiate profitable cargo van loads using Truckstop, DAT, and relevant expedited freight networks. Verify each broker’s minimum MC-age requirements before pursuing loads. Identify and onboard with brokers accepting newly activated cargo van carriers. Build broker relationships that generate repeat freight. Evaluate rates, loaded miles, deadhead, fuel costs, and delivery requirements before recommending loads. Obtain owner approval before booking any load. Plan routes and backhauls to minimize empty miles and downtime. Confirm freight weight and dimensions fit each van. Coordinate drivers, shipment updates, tracking, and delivery paperwork. Report weekly revenue, total miles, deadhead, and fleet performance. Required Qualifications Demonstrated success dispatching OTR cargo vans or Sprinter vans. Proven experience securing freight for carriers with MC authority under 90 days old, including newly activated authorities. Strong knowledge of broker onboarding and authority-age restrictions. Skilled rate negotiation, route planning, and communication. Hands-on experience with Truckstop and/or DAT. Reliable phone, internet, and availability during agreed dispatch hours. Existing broker relationships that accept new MC cargo van carriers are strongly preferred. Application Questions What was the youngest active MC you successfully dispatched cargo vans under?
