Experienced 26FT Box Truck Driver – Nationwide OTR – 22% Gross + Bonuses Company: Evans Core Solutions Job Location: Phoenix, Arizona Job Type: Full-Time, Over-the-Road (OTR) Pay: 22% of Weekly Truck Gross + Performance Bonuses Schedule: 3 Weeks OTR / 1 Week Home (Preferred) Proposed Pay Arrangement: 1099 Independent Contractor (Subject to Legal Classification Review) Job Description Evans Core Solutions is hiring an experienced, dependable, and motivated 26-foot box truck driver for nationwide over-the-road transportation. We’re an owner-operated trucking company looking for someone who takes driving seriously, protects company equipment, and is willing to work beyond simply driving. This is NOT an entry-level position. Experienced box truck drivers only. We’re looking for someone in hustle mode who’s ready to work hard and earn, while always putting safety first. Nationwide OTR Travel This is a true interstate OTR position, not local or regional. Drivers will travel throughout the continental United States based on available freight. Routes are not limited to Arizona, California, or the driver’s home state. Expect changing destinations, multiple states, and different pickup/delivery locations. Must be comfortable traveling for approximately three consecutive weeks. Some assignments involve long-distance travel and occasional late-night driving. Drivers may encounter assignments involving 500–800 miles, with driving scheduled within legal DOT hours-of-service limits. Truck pickup and return are in Phoenix, Arizona. If you’re looking for local work, regional routes, or guaranteed weekends home, this position is not a good fit. Weekly Pay & Performance Bonuses Drivers earn 22% of the truck’s weekly gross linehaul revenue, plus performance bonuses. Weekly performance bonuses: $6,500–$7,499 truck gross: $100 bonus $7,500–$8,499 truck gross: $200 bonus $8,500+ truck gross: $300 bonus Bonuses are noncumulative. Weekly gross driver pay examples: Weekly Truck Gross 22% Base Pay Bonus Total Driver Pay $6,500 $1,430 $100 $1,530 $7,500 $1,650 $200 $1,850 $8,500 $1,870 $300 $2,170 Additional $300 bonus for voluntarily completing four consecutive weeks OTR. Example: At $8,500 weekly truck gross during the qualifying fourth week, potential driver gross pay is $2,470, including both bonuses. Weekly pay/settlements Company-provided truck and fuel Actual earnings depend on completed loads and freight availability Examples are before taxes and any lawful deductions; earnings are not guaranteed Applicable wage requirements will be honored Schedule & Home Time Preferred schedule: 3 weeks OTR / 1 week home. Option to stay out four or more consecutive weeks Approximately seven days’ advance notice requested for planned home time Must be comfortable remaining away from home on weekends Home time coordinated directly with the owner No guaranteed weekly home time Multiple Partial Loads & Freight Handling We regularly combine multiple partial loads to maximize weekly truck revenue. This is not a driving-only position. Drivers are responsible for: Managing multiple pickups and deliveries Operating a manual pallet jack and liftgate Moving pallets toward the rear of the truck Repositioning freight to accommodate additional loads Securing freight using straps and load bars Assisting with loading and unloading when necessary Keeping cargo organized and protected Applicants must be able to perform essential physical duties safely, with reasonable accommodations where required.
