Dialog Café WeHo is looking for an Expo to join our team. We’re seeking individuals who share our core values, have a genuine passion for hospitality, are team-oriented, and can remain composed, welcoming, and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Prior Expo experience is required.

Our goal is simple: provide exceptional service while creating a welcoming space that feels like home for everyone.

Starting Pay: $20.87/hour + tips

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to guests.
• Read tickets and modifiers carefully and accurately.
• Check every dish for accuracy, presentation, portioning, and proper temperature before it leaves the kitchen.
• Assist with the final preparation and finishing of dishes.
• Organize and accurately assemble takeout orders, ensuring all items and modifications are included.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked Expo station throughout service.
• Complete side work efficiently and thoroughly.
• Maintain a professional appearance, clean uniform, and excellent personal hygiene.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards.
• Support the team wherever needed to maintain a smooth and positive guest experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior Expo experience is required.
• Previous customer service, cafe, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate and ABC certification/license.
• Strong understanding of hospitality and service standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Ability to read and prioritize tickets and modifiers accurately.
• Ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt during busy service periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to follow direction and ask questions when clarification is needed.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
