Job Overview: As an Expeditor at Jelly Roll's Goodnight Nashville, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment while upholding the highest standards in guest experiences. As a food Expeditor, you must have excellent communication skills and experience in a fast-paced setting. Expeditors keep a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the tables.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the waitstaff to the kitchen
• Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority
• Assist in the final preparation of dishes
• Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature
• Deliver orders to maintain fast service
• Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing
• Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning
• Transfer important information between the kitchen and the waitstaff, such as when a customer has a particular request
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance fluctuating workload
• Ability to work and communicate well with others
• Attention to detail and ability to take initiative a must

• Safe food handling and safety is always a top priority
• Must be a team player
• 2 years of work or related experience preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
