About the Opportunity: The EXPEDITOR role is responsible for managing and administering purchase orders to support project needs effectively. This position ensures supplier compliance with order requirements, facilitates procurement processes, and contributes to maintaining project schedules and budgets. The role is critical in coordinating between engineering teams and suppliers to secure necessary materials and equipment, directly impacting project execution and success. Responsibilities: Prepare and qualify bidders’ lists Assist engineering with material requisitions Form bid packages and issue bid requests Coordinate bidder inquiries and receive bids Prepare commercial bid summaries and award recommendations Communicate purchase order requirements to suppliers and internal teams Manage purchase order changes and revisions Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent with 2-5 years relevant experience, or 6-9 years relevant work experience Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes Strong problem-solving and risk mitigation skills Time and priority management abilities Relationship building and stakeholder management skills Documentation and systems proficiency Understanding of project priorities and critical path Supplier relationship management Effective communication and reporting skills Pay Range and Compensation Package: Salary range is $78,000 to $119,000 annually, determined by education, experience, and qualifications Benefits & Perks: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans Optional disability and supplemental insurance Generous paid time off (160 hours annually) Nine paid holidays Paid parental leave Discretionary bonuses 401(k) plan with matching Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
