Bristol Republic is hiring a dependable, organized Expo / Food Expeditor to keep our kitchen and service teams working together and ensure every order leaves the kitchen accurate, complete and looking its best. If you communicate clearly, notice the details and enjoy keeping things moving during a busy service, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Do Own the expo window: Organize tickets, track orders and coordinate food leaving the kitchen. Check every plate for accuracy, presentation, portions and required sides, sauces and garnishes. Coordinate with cooks so items for the same table are ready together and served promptly. Communicate clearly and professionally with the kitchen, servers, food runners and managers. Verify modifications and special requests; bring allergy concerns to the chef or manager and follow established procedures. Watch ticket times and communicate delays, missing items or quality concerns before they affect the guest. Direct food runners and assist with food delivery as needed. Keep the expo station clean, stocked and organized before, during and after service. Learn our menu, ingredients, plate presentations and table numbers. Follow food safety, sanitation and safe food handling standards. What We’re Looking For Previous expo, food runner, serving or kitchen experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage several orders at once. A clear, confident communicator who stays composed and respectful under pressure. A sense of urgency paired with a commitment to getting orders right. Dependability, punctuality and a positive, team-first attitude. Willingness to take coaching, learn our standards and help wherever needed. Ability to perform active restaurant work, including standing, moving throughout the restaurant and carrying food, with reasonable accommodation as needed. Required Availability Applicants must have availability for evening shifts and both morning/daytime and evening shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
