Role Description The Expeditor is a full-time, on-site role based in Oxnard, CA, responsible for ensuring that materials, parts, and finished products move efficiently through purchasing, production, and shipping. Day-to-day activities include tracking orders, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with vendors and internal departments, and resolving delays or shortages that could impact production schedules. The Expeditor will update records, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate status updates to supervisors and team members to support on-time delivery. This role also assists with prioritizing work orders, organizing incoming and outgoing shipments, and supporting continuous improvement in workflow and logistics. Qualifications Experience in production support, purchasing, logistics, or a similar operational role, preferably in manufacturing or chemical environments. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in tracking orders, inventory, and documentation. Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors, production teams, and other internal departments. Basic proficiency with computer systems and software used for order entry, inventory management, and reporting. Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to changing production needs. Commitment to safety practices and familiarity with working in an industrial or warehouse setting. High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing is beneficial. Reliable attendance and willingness to collaborate as part of a diverse, inclusive team.
