Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our vibrant food service team! Duties Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of orders, maintaining high standards of food presentation and quality Monitor food preparation progress, expedite dishes from the kitchen to ensure they reach guests promptly and at optimal temperature Communicate clearly with culinary team regarding special requests, dietary restrictions, or order modifications Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to uphold cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations Support kitchen staff with bussing tables when needed to maintain a clean and organized dining environment Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to track orders accurately and update status as dishes move through preparation stages Maintain organizational skills by managing order tickets efficiently and prioritizing tasks during busy service hours Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in roles involving food expediting or serving Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with kitchen staff, servers, and management Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Experience with POS systems and basic numeracy skills for order management and inventory tracking Familiarity with banquet service or large event catering is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Prior culinary or hospitality experience that demonstrates organizational skills and teamwork capabilities Join us in delivering memorable dining experiences by ensuring every plate is perfect!
