Expediter / Driver – Remote Work Camps (Part-Time, As-Needed)

About the Role: Fireweed is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Expediter/Driver to support our operations in the Yukon Territory. This position involves transporting staff and supplies to and from remote work camps across the region. The role is part-time, on an as-and-when-needed basis , and ideal for someone with flexible availability who enjoys driving and working in a dynamic northern environment. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport staff, materials, and supplies to various camp locations. Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and equipped for remote travel. Load, secure, and unload cargo as required. Follow established routes and schedules while adapting to changing road and weather conditions. Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation. Qualifications: Valid Class 4 or higher driver’s license. Clean driver’s abstract (must be provided prior to hire). Must be legally entitled to work in Canada . Experience driving in winter and remote road conditions is required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in varying conditions. Additional Information: Work is based out of Whitehorse, YT , with travel to field locations as required. Schedule is casual and demand-based , depending on operational needs. Accommodations and meals are provided when overnight stays are required.
