POSITION SUMMARY The Exhibit Warehouse Assistant supports the preparation, organization, assembly, and shipment of tradeshow exhibits and event materials. This role assists with assembling exhibit components, performing basic carpentry tasks, inspecting shipments for quality, and ensuring materials are ready for on-time delivery. Responsibilities include setting up and dismantling displays, making minor repairs, and using basic hand and power tools to maintain and prepare exhibit components. This position offers hands-on experience in warehouse operations, exhibit fabrication, and event preparation while supporting a team dedicated to successful event execution. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES* Support Our Events: Set up client tradeshow booths of all sizes, from simple tabletop displays to multi-level structures, ensuring everything is assembled correctly and ready for preview and shipment. Perform Basic Carpentry: Assist with basic carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, drilling, fastening, and assembling wood and other exhibit materials. Use basic hand and power tools to build, modify, and repair exhibit components as needed. Ensure Quality Service: Meet customer shipping requirements on time and communicate any potential issues that may affect deadlines or exhibit quality. Handle Special Projects: Take on various tasks as assigned, including exhibit modifications, minor repairs, and fabrication projects. Manage Inventory: Load and unload items from trucks for shipping and delivery, organize warehouse materials, and maintain accurate inventory records. Quality Control: Count, inspect, and verify shipments and exhibit components to ensure accuracy, quality, and readiness for delivery. Stay Organized: Perform scheduled inventory counts and maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work area. Maintain Exhibit Components: Assist with the setup, teardown, maintenance, and repair of exhibit displays, ensuring all components are in good working condition and properly stored. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation: Essential for getting to and from work. Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using a computer for inventory tracking, shipment documentation, and other warehouse-related tasks. Ability to Work Independently: Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision while communicating effectively with team members. Hands-On Exhibit Skills: Experience or ability to learn exhibit setup, teardown, assembly, and minor repairs.
