Excavator Operator with Class A CDL

GridSource is seeking an Excavator Operator with a Class A CDL to join our team in Grand Coteau, LA. As an Excavator Operator with a Class A CDL, you play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of the telecommunications infrastructure. You will work closely with the team to ensure the successful completion of projects related to conduit placement, cable installation, and equipment setup in underground pathways. Must pass a background and drug screen. Versatile construction professional with experience operating excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment, horizontal drilling is a plus. Pay is $25 - $28 DOE What you'll need: CDL - local drivers Maintain a valid driver's license. Responsible for turning in deliverables and production reports on a daily basis. Must set up and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to proper personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines. Punctuality; Arrive at work on time every day Responsible for maintaining, cleaning and organizing work area, truck, equipment, tools and office location Excellent teamwork skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers, vendors, and customers. Timely completion of required documentation Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate technical information clearly. Manage time appropriately throughout the day, from clock in to clock out. Turning in fuel slips and truck/equipment walkthroughs weekly fully completed Maintain a clean workspace and clean shop/yard space. Possess the physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, working in various weather conditions, and performing manual labor.
