RED GlobalRED GLOBAL-EWM CONSULTANT-ASAP START-US CITIZEN-REMOTE-12MONTHS+ RED Global, on behalf of a Key Client Partner, is currently seeking for an EWM Consultant to manage detailed design, configuration, and support end-to-end warehouse and inventory process definition for a large scale Aerospace & Defense Customer. Please find the details below: Role: EWM Consultant Start: ASAP Duration: 12months+ Location: Remote – occasional travel either in Florida or Texas, USA Capacity: Full time Language: English Key Responsibilities Warehouse Process & Solution Design: Analyze current warehouse, inventory, and materials handling processes (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, etc.) and map them to SAP EWM. Lead AS-IS / TO-BE process design for warehouses to support A&D production/Sustainment process. SAP EWM Configuration & Integration: Perform functional configuration in SAP EWM (warehouse structure, putaway/picking strategies, HU management, ASRS/MFS). Design and support integration between EWM and MM, SD, PP, gTS, EHS, and transportation/logistics execution (LE/TM). Project & Implementation Support: Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs. Author functional specifications for enhancements, RF flows, interfaces, and custom reports, collaborating with ABAP and technical teams. Testing, Cutover & Production Support: Define and execute test scenarios for inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse scenarios. Support data conversion and cutover for EWM/IM (on-hand inventory, warehouse master data). Provide ongoing support for EWM defect resolution. Governance, Compliance & A&D Controls: Ensure warehouse processes comply with A&D regulations, including ITAR/EAR export controls and controlled material handling. Support audit and compliance activities by providing process documentation and transaction traceability. Stakeholder Collaboration & Training: Act as the primary IT point of contact for warehouse operations, logistics, and production. Facilitate workshops and prepare user documentation and training materials. Required Qualifications Citizenship & Industry Experience: U.S. Citizenship required due to access to defense-controlled information Experience working in an Aerospace & Defense or highly regulated manufacturing/logistics environment preferred. SAP & Functional Experience: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM, including configuration of inbound, outbound, and internal processes. Strong understanding of inventory management, HU management, RF concepts, and integration with MM/SD/PP. Experience supporting full-cycle implementations. IT Business Analyst Skills: Experience gathering requirements, process mapping, authoring functional specs, test planning, and managing defects. Ability to work with ABAP developers to design and validate customized solutions
