Event Installation & Warehouse Crew Member Design Mode | Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time & Part-Time Help Us Bring Extraordinary Events to Life! Design Mode is a Phoenix-based event design and production company specializing in corporate events, specialty rentals, custom fabrication, floral design, and immersive event experiences throughout Arizona and across the country. We're looking for hardworking, dependable, and motivated crew members to join our warehouse and event installation team! This is a hands-on, physically active position where no two days are the same. Our crew is responsible for preparing, transporting, installing, and breaking down the furniture, décor, and custom elements that transform ordinary spaces into extraordinary events. We're looking for team players who take pride in their work, pay attention to details, and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. What You'll Do Event Installation & Breakdown Load, transport, unload, and install event furniture, décor, and production elements at venues. Assist with event setups, including lounges, furniture arrangements, backdrops, scenic elements, and decorative installations. Break down and pack event equipment safely and efficiently following events. Work alongside crew leaders and team members to complete installations on schedule. Follow event layouts, installation instructions, and direction from supervisors. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working at client venues. Warehouse & Inventory Support Prepare, pull, pack, and load rental inventory for upcoming events. Unload trucks and return inventory to its proper warehouse location after events. Properly handle, protect, and care for furniture, décor, and specialty rental items. Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining rental inventory. Safely operate basic hand tools, power tools, dollies, and other equipment. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. What We're Looking For A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dependable attendance. Ability to work well with a team and follow directions. Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, loading, and moving furniture. Strong attention to detail and respect for company equipment and inventory. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities. Previous experience in event production, furniture delivery, moving, warehouse operations, or construction is preferred but not required. Experience driving a 26-foot box truck is a major plus! Physical & Scheduling Requirements Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment, up to 100 pounds with appropriate assistance and equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Must be available for flexible event schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and late-night event breakdowns. Must be willing and able to travel for occasional out-of-state events, including overnight trips. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including Arizona summer temperatures.
