Viewings are by appointment only! |~|~~~~~ *** ~~~~~|~| Wm Schmidt is actively seeking a | Estimating & Purchasing Specialist – Plumbing div. | Operating as a key member of our residential home construction estimation team through supporting our fantastic teams and amazing clients and customers, this role assists with delivering plumbing packages to residential home construction sites in and around the Calgary and surrounding area. Key deliverables and executables: The successful candidate must be able to work with minimal or no supervision, demonstrated contributions and ability to adapt and support a highly effective and busy team. Success in this role will showcase and demonstrate a high level of professional communication skills with the ability to complete scheduled work in or in advance of the deadlines and allotments. Key Duties include but are not limited to: Monitor and maintain inventory levels and databases and process purchase orders. Assist in regular inventory audits, facilitate the elimination of dead-stock. Develop inventory management tools and processes, including warehousing software, barcoding, and delivery scheduling Receives, updates and accounts for new inventory. Resolves discrepancies and/or Manufacturers defects. Leads research and analysis of new offerings and products and ensures project timelines are met. Attend vendor led events to build relationships and identify new product offerings. Address product quality concerns, tracking returns and warranty claims, assist the service department in investigating material failures.
