Our operations include warehouse management, inventory control, purchasing, order processing, sales, distribution, and customer account management. We are seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled ERP Systems Manager to take full ownership of our custom ERP platform, oversee its daily operations, customize workflows, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve its functionality as our company expands. This is a hands-on role requiring deep knowledge of ERP software, warehouse management systems, and the operational complexities of high-volume wholesale distribution. Position Overview The ERP Systems Manager will be responsible for managing, maintaining, configuring, customizing, and optimizing our ERP system to ensure seamless operations across all departments. The ideal candidate must possess a strong combination of technical ERP expertise and practical experience in wholesale distribution, warehouse operations, inventory management, and consumer packaged goods. This individual will work closely with company leadership, warehouse personnel, sales teams, purchasing departments, and software developers to ensure our ERP platform operates efficiently, accurately, and reliably. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who can independently manage complex ERP functionality, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that streamline operations and support business growth. Key ResponsibilitiesERP System Management & Administration Take full ownership of the daily management, maintenance, and performance of our custom ERP platform. Configure, customize, and optimize ERP modules, workflows, settings, and business processes. Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, technical issues, and operational inefficiencies. Manage system configurations, user permissions, access controls, and administrative functions. Monitor ERP performance, data integrity, and overall system reliability. Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and enhanced functionality. Collaborate with software developers on system enhancements, integrations, and technical modifications. Warehouse & Inventory Management Oversee ERP functionality supporting receiving, inventory storage, picking, packing, shipping, and order fulfillment. Optimize warehouse management workflows to improve productivity and inventory accuracy. Manage inventory tracking across multiple warehouse locations. Support barcode scanning, inventory transfers, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation. Configure inventory replenishment, reorder points, and purchasing workflows. Support lot tracking, expiration-date management, and product traceability. Develop solutions to reduce inventory discrepancies, fulfillment errors, and operational bottlenecks. Wholesale Sales & Distribution Operations Manage ERP functionality related to wholesale order processing, customer accounts, invoicing, and sales reporting. Configure customer-specific pricing, wholesale price tiers, promotions, and discount structures. Support purchasing, vendor management, purchase orders, and inventory replenishment. Optimize order fulfillment workflows from order entry through final delivery. Support direct-store-delivery (DSD), route sales, and outside sales representative operations. Ensure accurate integration of sales, inventory, purchasing, and financial information. Develop and maintain operational reports and performance dashboards. ERP Customization & Continuous Improvement Customize system functionality to meet evolving business requirements. Evaluate existing workflows and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency. Translate business needs into technical specifications, system configurations, and actionable enhancements.
