Equipment Service Technician & Warehouse Associate

Goulding's Wholesale Limited | Gambo, NL | Permanent, full-time Goulding's Wholesale is a growing Newfoundland and Labrador food distribution and bakery business. Our group includes West Tower Bakery and Chatman's Bakery, and we recently added Slush Puppie as an exciting new product line to our wholesale distribution division. We are seeking a hands-on, dependable person to keep our Slush Puppie equipment running smoothly for customers across the province, and to support our warehouse and local delivery team. What you'll do Equipment service Install Slush Puppie machines at customer locations and confirm they are working properly Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning and sanitizing of equipment Diagnose faults, identify defective parts and complete repairs, on site and in our Gambo service room Recondition equipment and recover usable parts for reuse Manage the parts inventory and keep the service area clean and organized Complete service logs and keep records up to date for each machine and customer Travel to customer locations in Newfoundland and Labrador as needed Warehouse and local delivery Assist with picking, packing, loading and unloading orders in our Gambo warehouse Assist with local deliveries to customers in Gambo and surrounding areas Assist with keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organized Must have Mechanical and electrical aptitude. You enjoy figuring out how equipment works and fixing it. A customer-first attitude. You're friendly, professional and take pride in leaving customers happy. Organizational skills. Keep accurate records of service logs on equipment and by customer, equipment and parts inventory. A valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record Ability to travel around the island to install, service and pickup equipment as needed You'll also bring A strong work ethic and attention to detail, including cleanliness and food safety Good physical condition and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs A team approach to working with our office, warehouse and bakery staff Nice to have Experience servicing refrigeration, beverage or food service equipment Refrigeration or electrical training, or a related trade Warehouse or delivery experience What we offer $18 to $20 per hour, but flexible depend on experience and background May involve some overtime hours Training provided on Slush Puppie equipment in Gatineau, Quebec Work clothes provided Benefits: Group health and dental cost shared Company vehicle for service calls and deliveries A full time role with a growing local business NOTICE: We are unable to support applications for permanent residency or immigration applications with this position.
