Equipment Rental Support & Dispatch Coordinator

Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and organized Heavy Equipment Rental & Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the operational hub of our facility—managing logistics, tracking fleet movements, and providing excellent customer service. You will act as the critical link between our rental counter, yard staff, transport drivers, and customers to ensure seamless daily operations. --- Key Responsibilities · Software Utilization: Manage the entire rental lifecycle within Point of Rental software, including creating quotes, processing contracts, tracking fleet availability, and finalized billing. · Dispatch & Fleet Tracking: Coordinate daily delivery and pickup schedules, utilizing Connecteam GPS tracking to monitor driver routes, update ETAs, and optimize transport efficiency. · Team Communication: Serve as the central communication dispatch, using Connecteam to track tasks, and maintain real-time contact with drivers and yard staff. · Customer Support: Answer inquiries via phone, and email, providing timely updates on equipment availability and delivery times. · Logistics & Safety: Verify equipment weight limits against truck capacities and ensure all transport documentation complies with regional safety regulations. --- Qualifications · Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or operations within the equipment rental or construction sector. · Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Point of Rental (or equivalent rental ERP) and Connecteam (or similar mobile workforce management app) is preferred but not necessary. · Industry Knowledge: Basic familiarity with light or heavy construction equipment to accurately interpret customer rental needs. · Core Skills: Exceptional multitasking abilities, strong spatial awareness for routing, and a calm demeanor under pressure. --- What We Offer · Competitive compensation based on experience · Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits · RRSP options · Opportunities for career growth within a growing team Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
