EPJ Order Picker Job Overview:
The EPJ Order Picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking products from warehouse shelves using an electric pallet jack (EPJ) based on customer orders. The role requires attention to detail, a focus on safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to meet operational goals.

• Order Picking:
• Utilize an electric pallet jack to pick products based on customer orders or picking lists.
• Ensure products are picked accurately and in the correct quantities.
• Organize and transport products to designated packing or staging areas within the warehouse.
Product Handling:
• Load, unload, and organize products within the warehouse using EPJ and other equipment.
• Check products for quality and accuracy before moving them.
Inventory Management:
• Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring picked items match order information.
• Report discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors.
Safety Compliance:
• Operate the electric pallet jack safely, following all warehouse safety protocols.
• Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Maintenance & Equipment Care:
• Perform basic checks on the electric pallet jack before use and report any maintenance needs to supervisors.
• Charge and maintain equipment as required to ensure readiness for the next shift.
EPJ Order Picker Required Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
• Experience using an electric pallet jack (EPJ) or similar equipment is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
• Basic math skills for order verification and counting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Capable of bending, reaching, and twisting as needed.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on the warehouse environment.
Certifications:
• Forklift and/or EPJ certification required.
EPJ Order Picker Preferred Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with order picking or similar roles in a warehouse setting.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
EPJ Order Picker Working Conditions:
• Schedule:
• Full-time: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (7:00am - 5:30pm)
Environment:
• Warehouse setting with potential exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
• May require standing or walking for long periods and lifting heavy items.
