[Entry] Procurement Specialist

They are growing their Kokomo team and seeking a bilingual Procurement Specialist who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to help expand the business. Job Title: Bilingual Procurement Specialist (Korean/English) Location: Kokomo, IN (On-site) Employment Type: Regular Full-time Key Responsibilities Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers for goods and services that meet client requirements Process and maintain purchase orders to meet demand in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner Build strong relationships with customers and vendors through ongoing communication on delivery, pricing, RFQ status, and order confirmations Review quotes, determine contract pricing, follow up on open orders, verify delivery, and approve payment Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts Conduct market research and recommend alternative products that offer cost savings or shorter lead times Compare available goods against industry trends to determine appropriate pricing Organize and schedule procurement activities to support supply chain operations Maintain accurate and complete procurement data Partner with Finance to reconcile purchase and invoice variances Provide customer service via email and phone Perform hands-on receiving inspections at the warehouse to verify quantity, condition, and specifications against purchase orders Cross-check delivered goods with shipping documents to ensure accurate inventory records Identify and pursue new business opportunities Perform other related duties as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business, or a related field Fluency in both English and Korean (required) 1 to 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience preferred A proactive, passionate, and solutions-oriented mindset Work Environment Primarily office-based (approximately 80 to 90%), with occasional warehouse visits (approximately 10 to 20%) for inspection and receiving Requires lifting, moving, and unboxing light to medium packages Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and life) Paid time off
