Entry-Level Warehouse Associate Job Overview Lord & Sons is seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. We are a construction retail supplier specializing in fasteners, lumber, steel, tools, and other construction-related products. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play an important role in supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities Receive, sort, label, and stock incoming inventory accurately Select and pull customer orders efficiently and accurately Package, prepare, and shrink-wrap orders for shipment Process and ship orders using carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and other freight providers Load and unload materials safely and efficiently Assist with inventory organization, cycle counts, and warehouse cleanliness Maintain an organized and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and procedures Assist with additional warehouse and operational functions as needed Qualifications & Requirements Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Good verbal and written communication skills Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or forklift experience is a plus, but not required Experience working in a fast-paced environment is helpful, but not required Compensation Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) 401(k) Matching Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Employee Discount Paid Time Off (PTO) and Vacation Schedule Full-Time 8-Hour Shift Monday through Friday Overtime Opportunities Available Why Join Lord & Sons?
