Entry Level Production Planning

Entry Level Production Planning Full Time: M-F 8:00 am- 4:30 pm (Occasional Saturday’s) Connector Manufacture seeking candidates to schedule and expedite components. Qualified applicant will take responsibility for day-to-day planning and must have the ability to organize, plan, schedule, problem solve and understand manufacturing methods and procedures. Can work under pressure and has excellent time management and the ability to multi-task. Duties: Plan and schedules workflow for assigned department according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Expedites operations that delay schedules and communicates this information accordingly Generates work orders, and other documentation for production Coordinates, develops, and maintains production schedules, calculates material requirements using MRP system and manually with excel sheets. Coordinates efforts with manufacturing team to initiate expediting of materials, tools, and equipment to meet schedule Resolve scheduling problems by collecting and communicating information Available to assist in other tasks as directed by supervisor Works with Production Manager daily to monitor status and scheduling in order to obtain on-time delivery of products. Qualifications: · Experience 1 - 4 years in a manufacturing environment preferred · Intermediate computer skills especially with Excel. · Must be capable of effectively motivating others to achieve targeted goals · Strong written communication skills, problem resolution, judgment, decision making skills · Time Management and organizational skills a must either working in a group or independently · Will need to send email replies back to our customers. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications Work Location: In person
