Entry-Level Order Processing Specialist

Overview As an Entry-Level Order Processing Specialist, you’ll help keep orders moving accurately from receipt through shipment. You’ll enter order details, check inventory, and coordinate with warehouse teammates to support timely fulfillment. This role is a practical starting point for building skills in warehouse operations, inventory, and logistics. Responsibilities Enter and verify order information in warehouse management systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or related software. Check stock, pick and pack products, and prepare orders for shipping and receiving. Use an RF (radio frequency) scanner and equipment such as a pallet jack or order picker; assist with loading and unloading as assigned. Support stocking, packaging, inventory records, and warehouse distribution activities. Follow shipping logistics procedures and applicable trade compliance and international trade regulations. Your impact: Accurate order processing helps warehouse teams fulfill customer orders reliably and gives customers clearer, more dependable service. Skills Basic math, data entry, attention to detail, and customer service skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, inventory management software, and warehouse management systems; exposure to MRP (material requirements planning) or AS400 is helpful. Interest in order fulfillment, order picking, picking and packing, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. Warehouse experience is helpful but not required; willingness to learn warehouse operations and logistics is essential. Forklift experience or familiarity is a plus; equipment use must follow applicable workplace procedures.
