Entry-Level Moving & Logistics Dispatcher

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and organized **Entry-Level Moving & Logistics Dispatcher** to coordinate moving crews, vehicles, customer schedules, and daily deliveries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicating with people, and working in a fast-paced environment. No prior dispatching experience is required. We will provide training to the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch moving crews, drivers, and vehicles Coordinate daily routes, assignments, pickups, deliveries, and move appointments Communicate with customer service regarding arrival times, schedule changes, and service updates Monitor moving crews and assist with resolving delays or logistical issues Maintain accurate records of schedules, work orders, mileage, and job status Use dispatching software, GPS systems, phones, email, and other office tools Communicate with drivers, movers, customer service, and management throughout the day Help ensure that jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule Escalate customer concerns or operational issues to the appropriate manager Perform other administrative and logistics duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and customer-service skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using computers, email, phones, and scheduling software Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude Prior experience in moving, transportation, logistics, customer service, or dispatching is helpful but not required Physical and Work Requirements Ability to work in an office and logistics environment Walking through facilities and vehicle yards Ability to work flexible hours during busy periods Ability to respond quickly to schedule changes and operational needs Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
