Entry Level Dispatcher

Entry-Level Dispatcher NextGen Heavy Haulers – Dayton, Ohio NextGen Heavy Haulers is looking for an energetic and motivated Entry-Level Dispatcher to join our team. Previous dispatching or trucking experience is not required . We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, communicates well, stays organized, and can keep up in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time positon with Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with dispatching drivers and coordinating daily loads Communicate with drivers, customers, brokers, and internal staff Monitor load progress and help keep schedules on track Assist with pickup and delivery coordination Update load information and maintain accurate records Help communicate delays, route changes, and scheduling updates Support the operations team with day-to-day transportation needs Learn heavy-haul transportation, permitting, routing, and specialized freight operations Skills & Qualifications: Energetic, motivated, and eager to learn Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling multiple tasks at the same time Strong problem-solving skills Good computer and data-entry skills Dependable and able to work well with a team Willingness to learn the trucking and heavy-haul industry Previous transportation experience is a plus, but not required Experience Level: Entry Level Location: Dayton, Ohio Position: Full-Time We’re looking for someone with the right attitude and work ethic who wants to learn the business and grow with the company.
