The Energy Storage team within Dist Resource Integration is responsible for supporting Con Edisons strategy to advance the deployment and operation of bulk energy storage in New York City and Westchester County. The Contract Administration Manager will support the procurement, contracting, implementation, and ongoing administration of bulk energy storage projects and Utility Dispatch Rights arrangements. The Contract Planning Analyst will manage complex contract-administration activities throughout the contract lifecycle, including procurement support, contract execution, project implementation, milestone tracking, performance monitoring, invoice and payment review, change management, amendments, claims, compliance, contract closeout, and contract administration. The position will work closely with Energy Storage, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Energy Management, Engineering, Distribution and Transmission Planning, project developers, contractors, consultants, and other internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will apply strong commercial, analytical, organizational, and communication skills to support energy storage procurements and contractual arrangements. The position will identify and manage contract obligations, assess project and counterparty risks, resolve issues, and develop recommendations that support timely and effective decisions. This position offers an opportunity to support projects that integrate distribution-system needs with wholesale energy market applications. The selected candidate will contribute to Con Edisons strategic clean energy goals, support New York States Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act objectives and help expand the Companys capabilities to contract for and administer energy storage services while maximizing customer benefits. Core Responsibilities Assist in the day-to-day administration of complex contracts supporting bulk energy storage projects and Utility Dispatch Rights arrangements with third-party developers, owners, operators, vendors, and service providers.
