Energy Services Coordinator Job Overview We are seeking an Energy Services Coordinator to support energy-related logistics, transportation, inventory, and project coordination activities. This role is responsible for coordinating the movement of equipment and supplies, maintaining accurate records, supporting communication with vendors and logistics providers, and analyzing transportation and inventory information. The position works closely with internal departments, carriers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to support timely deliveries, accurate inventory records, efficient transportation processes, and effective project coordination. Responsibilities Coordinate transportation activities for energy equipment, materials, and supplies using transportation management systems. Manage shipping and receiving activities, including shipment scheduling, documentation, data entry, and delivery tracking. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to support freight planning, routing, delivery schedules, and transportation cost management. Use enterprise systems such as SyteLine, AS400, or similar ERP platforms for inventory tracking, order processing, reporting, and record maintenance. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, orders, and project-related documentation. Enter and verify logistics and inventory information accurately and in accordance with established procedures. Communicate with vendors, carriers, logistics providers, and internal teams regarding shipments, schedules, orders, and delivery requirements. Use multi-line phone systems and other communication tools to respond to inquiries and coordinate logistics activities. Review transportation and freight data to identify trends, operational issues, process improvement opportunities, and potential cost savings. Support cross-functional teams with logistics information, reporting, and coordination as needed. Follow established procedures for shipping, receiving, inventory control, documentation, and workplace safety. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, shipping and receiving, or a related field. Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics processes. Familiarity with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight coordination, shipping documentation, and receiving procedures. Experience using ERP or enterprise systems such as SyteLine, AS400, or comparable platforms is preferred. Strong data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to review and interpret transportation, inventory, or freight data and identify relevant trends or issues. Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with vendors, carriers, and internal teams. Professional phone communication skills and experience using multi-line phone systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and meet established deadlines. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to follow established processes and accurately maintain logistics and project documentation. Position Expectations The Energy Services Coordinator supports reliable transportation, inventory, and logistics operations by maintaining accurate information, coordinating shipments, communicating with relevant parties, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and manage costs. The position requires attention to detail, effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple logistics activities in accordance with company procedures.
