• Safely operate end dump trucks on regional routes across neighboring states.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance concerns promptly.
• Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards and procedures.
• Load, monitor, and safely dump materials, ensuring proper load securement at all times.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and ensure all trip documentation is completed correctly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and yard personnel to facilitate smooth operations.
• Follow route plans, maintain schedules, and meet on-time delivery expectations.
• Protect company equipment and ensure your truck is clean and presentable.
• Promptly report any incidents, hazards, or delays to the appropriate parties.
• Deliver professional and courteous service, representing Woody Bogler Trucking in the best light.
Essential Skills Required
• Must possess a CDL Class A license.
• Experience operating end dump trailers.
• Strong defensive driving skills.
• Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT compliance regulations.
• Expertise in load securement techniques.
• Competence in performing vehicle inspections (pre/post-trip).
• Basic knowledge of truck maintenance checks.
• Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD).
• Skilled in trip planning and route navigation.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
