END DUMP TRUCK DRIVER

Ussery and Watson Trucking is seeking a dependable, safety-focused End Dump Truck Driver with a valid CDL Class A license to join our team in McDonough, Georgia. We are looking for experienced commercial drivers who can safely operate end dump trucks and trailers while transporting construction materials, including gravel, sand, dirt, and other construction-related products, to and from job sites. The ideal candidate has experience operating commercial trucks, handling end dump trailers, dropping and hooking trailers, and following safe dumping procedures at construction sites. Pay ranges from $800 to $1,500 per week , depending on the compensation arrangement and applicable qualifications. A valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card is highly recommended. Candidates must demonstrate safe driving practices, reliable attendance, and a commitment to maintaining company equipment. Job Responsibilities l Safely operate an end dump truck and trailer to transport construction materials. l Haul gravel, sand, dirt, and other assigned materials to and from designated job sites. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer. Safely position and operate the end dump trailer during unloading operations. Perform dropping and hooking of various trailers as needed. Follow all applicable DOT regulations, traffic laws, company policies, and construction site safety procedures. Coordinate with dispatchers, supervisors, and site personnel to ensure timely deliveries. Complete delivery tickets, inspection reports, mileage logs, and other required documentation. Monitor vehicle condition and promptly report mechanical issues or safety concerns. Maintain a clean truck and demonstrate proper care of company equipment. Follow established procedures for safe loading, hauling, and dumping of materials. Perform other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications Valid CDL Class A driver's license. Clean driving record. Previous commercial truck driving experience. Ability to safely operate an end dump truck and trailer. Experience dropping and hooking trailers. Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety requirements. Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with dispatch and job site personnel. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work 12-hour shifts and in outdoor construction environments Preferred Qualifications Previous end dump truck driving experience. Construction material hauling experience. Experience transporting gravel, sand, dirt, or similar materials. Valid TWIC card is highly recommended. Familiarity with construction site safety and dumping procedures. Experience working around heavy equipment and commercial trailers.
