MG Mayberry Services is seeking a dependable and safety-focused End Dump Driver to transport dirt, sand, gravel, aggregate, asphalt, and other construction materials. This position requires safely operating a Class A commercial vehicle with an end dump trailer while following DOT regulations, company procedures, and job-site safety requirements. Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate a tractor-trailer with an end dump trailer. Transport construction materials to and from plants, yards, and job sites. Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections. Verify that loads are properly distributed, secured, covered, and within legal weight limits. Safely back, position, and dump loads at active construction sites. Inspect dumping areas for uneven ground, overhead power lines, unstable surfaces, and other hazards. Maintain delivery tickets, mileage records, inspection reports, and required DOT logs. Follow directions from dispatchers, supervisors, and job-site personnel. Comply with traffic laws, DOT regulations, and hours-of-service requirements. Keep the truck and trailer clean and in safe operating condition. Report maintenance concerns, accidents, spills, damage, delays, and safety hazards immediately. Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all company and job-site safety procedures. Perform other driving and hauling duties as assigned. Physical and Scheduling Requirements Ability to climb into and out of the truck and inspect equipment. Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and lift or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, dust, mud, and noise. Availability for early mornings, extended shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends based on project needs. MG Mayberry Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Current DOT medical card. manual transmission commercial driving Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to meet company insurance requirements. Experience operating an end dump trailer or hauling construction materials. Knowledge of DOT regulations, legal weight limits, and safe dumping procedures. Ability to maneuver and back a tractor-trailer safely in confined or active construction areas. Ability to complete inspections and maintain accurate records. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and communication. Ability to pass required drug, alcohol, background, and driving-record screenings in accordance with applicable law. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of commercial driving experience. Previous end dump, aggregate, asphalt, or construction-hauling experience. Experience operating manual-transmission commercial vehicles. Familiarity with local plants, landfills, construction sites, and material yards.
