Temporary Mail Delivery Contractor, Forks, WA Pay: $500/day (independent contractor, 1099) Duration: October 28 to November 14, 2026 Hours: Approx. 8:30 AM to 3:30-4:00 PM daily About the Job Short-term USPS contract mail route in Forks, WA. About 140 miles per day, almost all paved, with roughly 200 boxes. A straightforward route and a good short-term earning opportunity. Requirements Own reliable vehicle with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo space Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance Ability to pass USPS background screening Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with long solo driving days Preferred Prior mail carrier or delivery experience Existing USPS badge Training Experience is preferred, but new applicants will be considered. Training is unpaid. If needed, you'll ride along on the route for a few days before starting. Compensation Notes Independent contractor position. Contractor provides their own vehicle and is responsible for taxes. No benefits.
