Embroidery & Shipping Assistant

Job Summary GUD Creations is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented assistant to help with daily shop operations. The primary responsibilities include keeping the workspace clean and organized, folding and preparing embroidered orders, and packaging products for shipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and helping a small business keep orders moving efficiently. Previous embroidery experience is not required. Familiarity with the Greek alphabet is a plus, but we are happy to train someone who is willing to learn. Responsibilities Keep the shop, workstations, and production areas clean and organized. Fold, inspect, and prepare embroidered garments and other finished products. Package customer orders carefully for shipping and pickup. Print or organize labels and match orders with the correct products. Assist with sorting, counting, and organizing merchandise. Check orders for accuracy, including Greek letters, colors, sizes, and quantities. Help with basic production tasks and other shop duties as needed. Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks. Able to lift and move boxes or merchandise as needed. Basic reading and counting skills. Familiarity with the Greek letter alphabet is preferred, but not required. Willingness to learn and work as part of a team. No previous embroidery experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate. Compensation & Schedule Starting pay: $12.00 per hour. Part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week. Schedule to be discussed during the interview. Hands-on training provided. The shop closes for approximately two weeks during the holiday season each year. Applicants should plan for this annual closure when considering the position.
