Elevator Operator DZ Driver

AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. is seeking a full-time Elevator Operator / DZ Driver for our Dutton Branch. In this varied, hands-on role, you will support customers, handle fertilizer, crop protection products and grain, operate branch equipment, and make safe, timely deliveries to farm-member owners across the AGRIS market. What you will do: Deliver exceptional service by receiving customer orders and coordinating safe, accurate and timely fulfilment. Receive, load and unload fertilizer, crop protection products, grain, and other farm inputs in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Operate grain-handling, material-handling and other branch equipment safely and efficiently. Drive delivery trucks and complete customer deliveries safely, accurately and on schedule. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep vehicles clean, and support required preventative maintenance. Complete shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory records accurately; monitor stock and assist with inventory counts. Maintain required licenses, permits, certificates and records, and follow the Ontario Highway Traffic Act and safe loading and unloading practices. Support general labour, housekeeping and seasonal facility maintenance while following all AGRIS health, safety, and environmental procedures. Perform other duties related to fertilizer, crop protection products and grain operations as assigned. What you bring: Required: Valid Ontario DZ driver’s license and a clean driving record. Required: Ability to safely operate trucks and material-handling and grain-handling equipment; training will be provided where applicable. Required: Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing, loading, unloading, and inspecting equipment. Required: Availability for flexible and irregular hours, including extended hours during peak agricultural seasons. Required: Ability to obtain and maintain applicable licenses, permits and certificates, such as pesticide or professional applicator designations. Required: Strong commitment to customer service, safe work practices, accuracy, and teamwork. Preferred: Experience in agriculture, grain handling, fertilizer, or crop protection product operations.
