Electronics Buyer & E-Commerce Listing Specialist

Job Description Sell Your Gadgets is a growing electronics resale company with retail locations across the United States. We specialize in purchasing smartphones, laptops, gaming consoles, tablets, computers, and other electronics directly from customers for instant cash. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Electronics Buyer & E-Commerce Listing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate and purchase electronics from customers, research current resale values, test devices, and create accurate online listings for platforms such as eBay and Shopify. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of consumer electronics, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities Electronics Buying & Customer Service Assist walk-in customers looking to sell their electronics. Evaluate smartphones, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles, computers, and other devices. Inspect and test electronics for functionality, condition, and defects. Research current market prices to determine appropriate purchase offers. Negotiate purchase prices while maintaining company profitability. Verify device information, serial numbers, and customer identification. Accurately process purchases using our internal point-of-sale system. E-Commerce Listings & Inventory Create accurate, professional product listings for eBay and other online marketplaces. Photograph electronics and document their condition. Research competitive selling prices using completed and active listings. Write detailed product descriptions, including specifications and defects. Test, clean, and prepare electronics for resale. Organize inventory and maintain accurate product records. Ensure purchased merchandise is listed quickly and accurately. Assist with packaging and shipping sold items when needed. Qualifications Strong knowledge of consumer electronics, including Apple, Samsung, Windows laptops, gaming consoles, and related technology. Familiarity with eBay, online selling, or electronics resale is highly preferred. Comfortable researching product values and negotiating prices. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and work independently. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Preferred Experience Electronics resale, trade-in, or buyback experience. Retail sales or purchasing experience. eBay listing, inventory management, or e-commerce experience. Electronics repair, diagnostics, or troubleshooting knowledge.
