Electrician- Industrial/Transportation

Skillforce has teamed up with a leading electrical contractor to find skilled Journeyman Electricians to work on their infrastructure projects. These projects include railways, airports, highways and utilities.

This is a full-time, direct hire position working on projects in the DMV area.

Journeyman Electrician Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $50-$60/hr
• Background check, drug screen, and MVR required
• Healthcare, pension, etc.
• Bonus potential

Journeyman Electrician Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical construction and installation activities on transportation and industrial projects.
• Install conduit, cabling and wiring, power distribution systems including switchgear, transformers, control panels, etc.
• Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout all phases of construction.

Journeyman Electrician Qualifications

• Must be willing to join the union
• 6+ years of electrical experience
• Electrical license 
• Wastewater treatment plant experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR required
